We are
living in a knowledge based society where technology acts as an enabler and as
a tool for empowerment. Technology has changed the way education has
traditionally been disseminated, changing the dynamics of the entire teaching
and learning process in the classroom and beyond.
It is
through technology that distance can be bridged and education can be brought to
the students doorstep earlier students would study through books, one source,
but with ICT and web-based learning, access to more material on the same topic
has widened.
In this
theme a seminar was conducted in the school by Dell to introduce their App Dell
Aarambh. It was an interactive session where teachers were guided how they can
make their teaching more effective through ICT. They were also encouraged to
educate students and parents for more use of ICT in learning process. This
session provided a new out look to the teachers of teaching learning process.
