Pre-Primary Kids and Parents togetherness programme!!!


Three days togetherness programme started in Saint Soldier Public School from today. On the first day, Nursery class presented their programme.
            



First day Nursery students presented their talents. Second day K.G. students presented their program.Third day was Prep class turn and the students presented their talents.

                            English and Hindi rhyme recitation was done by some students and some students enacted the stories Children did the colouring and craft activity with their parents.



                                                   After that Fancy Dress Competition on the spot was organized. Principal Ma’am selected the first, second and third winners.  Parents enjoyed dancing with the kids. The programme was over with the vote of thanks by respected Principal Ma’am.The programme ended with refreshments


NSE funancial quest!! City Winner from SAINT SOLDIER PUBLIC SCHOOL, Pratap Nagar!!!



                                   A NSE funancial quest was organized by Mr. Sunil for classes VIII –IX. It was a workshop on ‘Life science and ‘money management’. The students were told how they can brighten their future by selecting the appropriate careers and how their one step can change their lives and provide them with the scope to earn more money.
                                  The students were provided with sheets to fill and match their traits with the suitable career options provided. Then again a Teacher award and Principal Conference was held at hotel ‘The Theme’ wherein a brief presentation on financial education was provided.
                                     We are proud to state that the  project of Jahanvi Sharma of IX B class from SSPS Pratap Nagar was graded as the best project and was awarded with ‘Samsung Tab’ during the conference. They expressed gratitude towards the teachers & principal to attend the session and felicitated then with a small token of affection.

Science Magic at SAINT SOLDIERS, Pratap Nagar!

Date: - 21-2-14(Friday)
Today, a “Quiz Competition & Science Magic” was conducted for classes I to VIII in the school activity hall. It was conducted by Science Teachers of the school. A few experiments like Static Electricity, Sinking Egg, Diving Mothball, Egg in bottle, Water Pressure were practically shown to all the students.


The best part of the programme was that students were very much excited during the programme. They were active throughout the session and showed active participation and responded well to the questions giving reason behind the experiments. The experiment of’ sinking egg’ made them all amazed. They observed all the experiments carefully. When the experiment of static electricity was being performed, students also came forward and gave a few more examples of static electricity that are known to them. The last experiment of ‘Egg In A Bottle’ was performed by our esteemed Principal Ma’am, students were very excited to see that this experiment and very keen to know about it morel.
At last some questions were asked by our honorable Principal Ma’am and she awarded the winners with a golden apple and a chocolate.
Overall it was a great programme and we all enjoyed it.

QUIZ ON SWAMI VIVEKANANDA!!

We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far. These are the inspiring words of swami Vivekananda.’


Swami Vivekananda, known as Narendranath Dutta, he was a precocious boy, who excelled in music, gymnastics and studies. He had vast knowledge of different subjects, and has been famous for his philosophical speeches all over the world.
                                                 Thus, to create awareness among the students on Swami Vivekananda an Inter Class Quiz Competition was organized for class’s VII-X on Swami Vivekananda. The quiz had six rounds altogether. The first round was based on MCQ in which each class was shown a question and they had to select the correct answer. 
                                     The second round was visual based in which the students had to identify the picture of the personalities who were related to swami Vivekananda. In the third round a few topic based questions were asked about swami Vivekananda. 
                                       Next two rounds were to identify various locations and too identify the speakers. On the whole it was a mind juggling session. The students took part very enthusiastically and were able to answer quite a few questions proving to be an eye opener for the students and it definitely enhanced their knowledge on swami Vivekananda. 
                              At last our respected Principal Ma’am  came forward and appreciated the efforts of the students and boosted them telling the benefits of inculcating reading habit among them and gave her best wishes for the examination.

Spell Bee Competition 2014!!

                                Words are the means of expression of one's thoughts.The rich vocabulary plays & vital role in a student's overall development. To assess the word power of students, "Classmate Spell Bee" competition 2014 was held, which was powered by "Times Of India". This is the season six of India's largest school spelling competition from classes V to XI participated in this competition. This is an event that reflects classmate's ideology that every child is unique. There are four phases of this competition in total, School level, City finals Semi finals and National finals. The Multiple choice questions were given to students to test their spelling knowledge and concept . On National level the 16 students will be divided into groups of four each and the winners from each four groups will compete in the Grand Finale. The winner of this round will be declared as classmate Spell Bee National Champion 2014.






Spin A Yarn Rope & String Activity!!


Date: - 15-2-14(Saturday)
Spin a Yarn Rope & String Activity was held in Pre-Primary section. Teachers showed them different types of yarn and ropes. They gave them details about uses of ropes and how the clothes can be made by yarn. Children also played a game tug of war with the help of teachers.
Teachers also put up the questions regarding that and solved the queries of children.
 


Students had fun and learnt too!!!

Bid Adieu to the seniors!!

Date: 01/02/2014 (Saturday)


‘Don't be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.’

                            On 1/02/14 our school bid adieu to our 12th class students. A short and sweet farewell party was organized by 11th class students for their seniors. Before initiating with the programme our esteemed Secretary Sir And Principal Ma’am were welcomed in our Indian tradition by applying tilak. The auspicious occasion started by lighting of the lamp by our Respected Secretary Sir and Principal ma’am.


To bid adieu is a time to move on , to conquer new battles and scale new heights…on this note Mr. Navneet Babar addressed the gathering of our parting 12th class. Thereafter Mr. Rajesh wished students good luck and said a few words of encouragement to the audience.Then our senior students were invited to the Dias to light the lamp and to get the blessings from the universe. Thereafter our respected secretary sir and principal ma’am illuminated their diyas , then; our respected ma’am came forward for the pledge.

After the pledge all the students placed their diyas on the globe giving the message that wherever they go they’ll ignite others with their knowledge which they have gained from Saint Soldier Public School.Subsequently the 11th class students presented their ingenious dance performance refreshing the fond memories spent together with their seniors.
‘A wave of hand, few drops of tears never thought of farewell all these years’ with these words eleventh class boys presented a parody of old and new farewell songs wishing them to smile always and be in touch.
To spread smile to our seniors the students of eleventh class gave interesting titles to their seniors, and our respected secretary sir and principal ma’am were invited to distribute the presents, good luck charm and title cards to the 12th class students.
To add more fun to the event few short games were organized or the students.At the end of the programme our respected secretary sir gave his blessings to the students and wished them prosperous life ahead. Our respected principal ma’am also shared a few nostalgic moments spend with the students and ended her speech by narrating an inspiring story and giving students keys to achieve success.

Last but not the least was the sashes that were again distributed by our respected secretary sir and principal ma’am. Mr Saint Soldier was given to Saket Pareek, Ms Saint Soldier to Deeksha Natani, Mr. and Ms Sincere was given to Harshit Sharma And Anita Meena respectively. Mr Evening was bagged by none other than Shailendra Neemka and Ms Evening was Pratigya.


At the end head girl of the school presented her vote of thanks. The parting 12th class also presented a souvenir to the school showing their respect and gratitude for the institution. The farewell party ended with refreshment and jam session that was enjoyed the most by all the students.

BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATION!!!

DATE: 04/02/14 ( Tuesday)


The yellow colour on the pleasant morning of Basant Panchami added more charm and brightness when the whole stage of the school was decorated with fresh yellow flowers. The celebration initiated with the Worship of Goddess Saraswati  which was done by our respected principal ma’am followed by all the teachers wherein  flowers and sweets were offered to Goddess Saraswati. A short cultural programme initiated with a melodious group song presented by boys welcoming the ‘Spring Season.’

Then a very short and sweet speech was presented by Prarabdh Thakur explaining the importance of Basant Panchami to the students.A short poem ‘Basant Aaya’ was also narrated by Ayushi of IV class.



At the end all the students were invited individually to take the blessings from Goddess Saraswati and sweets were also distributed to the students on this pious occasion. Thus at the end we just wish that May the occasion of Basant Panchami,
Bring the wealth of knowledge to You,May You be blessed by Goddess Saraswati
& All Your Wishes
