Closing Ceremony of SUMMER CAMP!!!

                "There is Always that one summer that changes you"
                                                  Like last year, this year too a summer camp was organized for students. As the saying goes ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END summer camp also came to an end.

                           In this camp many sporty and mind building skills such as Swimming, Dance, and Karate etc. were done under the guidance of experts. The students were taken smoothly through the activities as school conducts many activities to nourish its students. 
                 30th May 2018 was the last day of the summer camp where participants were given skill certificates by honorable Secretary Sir, Gurmeet Singh Ji and the Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh appreciated all the participants.

Mother's Day Celebrated

"My mother my friend so dear
      Throughout my life you’re always near,
            A tender smile to guide my way
                 You’re the sunshine to light my day."
                  
                         Mother's Day is celebrated to honor all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they bear in bringing up a child. One relationship which is always with us is the one we share with our mothers. To honour them Mother's Day was celebrated on 8th May 2018 inviting the young mothers of our Pre-Primary students. 


                               Program started with speech of Principal Ma’am. After this “Gayatri Mantra” and song “Tum hi ho mata pita tum ho” presented by students. The show was took up by the mothers and they presented the song, dance and kavita and enjoyed their day. Mothers gifted the students with masks and had a jam session. At the end mother and their kids enjoyed catwalk and Principal Ma’am gave a token of love to all mothers and appreciated all the mothers.
                                      Last but not the least our Respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh appreciated the program. She also told children about the importance of mother & how each one of us should give respect to our mothers.

FUN WITH BALLOON ACTIVITY !!!

                              On 5th May 2018 Saturday an activity namely “Fun with balloons” was held in the Pre Primary wing of Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar. Through this activity the teachers gave balloons to kid to write a message to their loved ones and students sent messages to their parents. 

Art & Craft Activity !!!

                            Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized a paper crush activity for the students of class I to V. Art and Craft Teacher Meenakshi upadhyay taught the students how to make different types of flowers with different kind of materials. 
                                She also taught them how to paint with thump impression on and with crush papers etc. Students enjoyed this activity and they promised to do these activities in their summer holidays also.

COUNSELLING SESSION FOR TEACHERS !!!


                                   Depression, anxiety and stress as major psychological issues affecting students, the urgent need for counseling in schools for teachers and students was outlined at session in Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar on Friday, May 4th 2018. Highlighting the mounting pressure faced by students, the session was to train teachers better to tackle these issues, taken by Mr. Ranjeet Rajput, Director of Brainmita counseling academy. The session was interactive and interesting.


                              Our Respected Principal Ma’am Aruna Suresh, introduced the counselor, and the topic of the session the main concern was parent, teachers should become facilitators, towards dealing with depression, anxiety and stress among school students. The discussion was also based on that teachers should know how to handle the adolescent children and students should know how to cope with the stress. 
                                 As the incidents are happening on a regular basis, taking them as an eye-opener the teachers should devise a holistic plan to sort out this problem. The focus was also on the role of teachers in promoting the social emotional health of students at risk, an innovative counseling intervention with in schools, context that focuses on enabling them, being more resilient in order to better deal with case of ‘difficult’ students.
