'Parhit saris dharam nahi koi'
We should keep our hand ready to render
help to others. This thought motivated the young students to do a fete for
charity and every class participated in it with heart & soul and
contributed the best to raise funds. The fund raised was worth enough to
fulfill a bit of requirement for the girls students of Vimukti Sanstha, a registered society that has taken an
integrated programme for educating the underprivileged girl child from the
urban slums. The event started by seeking blessings from the almighty with prayer
song and with the delighting performance by the students of school.
We were blessed to have with us as Chief Guest Shri Ajay
Pal Singh Ji (Chairman Of Guru Nanak Dev Satsang Sabha Education Board
& President Of Rajasthan Sikh Samaj), Shri Baldev Singh Ji (Secretary Of
Education Board) and Shri Jasbeer singh Ji (Chairman Of Minority Commission Of
Rajasthan). The event took place under the guidance of our Respected Secretary
Sir Shri Gurmeet Singh Ji.
The main motive is to combat and overcome the
vulnerability of these girls through literacy and education and to make them
self reliant and self employed citizens. To spread the message of having
strong resolution over this New Year to study hard the students to presented a
skit. Thereafter came our song choir to captivate all with their melodious
performance. It’s important to think good, speak well and do well.
If we want to see positive change in the world, then we need to connect to
goodness. Our esteemed Chief Guest, other dignitaries, Respected Secretary
sir escorted by our Principal Ma’am came on stage to present a small
contribution made by our students through school fete and shared the happiness.
From the SSPS family the girls of Vimukti Sansthana were presented with uniform
dress materials and stationery items useful
for their educational needs.
For the same Shri Jasbeer singh ji addressed the
gathering with his moral words to learn the art of giving, sharing &
caring. He appreciated the efforts of
students for raising funds. Towards the end some interesting games were organized
for the girls. At last respected
Principal ma’am thanked the Vimukti Santhana for their presence
and vote of thanks was presented by Mstr. Priyansh Singh Rathore of IX-B .
