Bulletin Board Competition @SSPS

                    Art is a good medium of expression. Any kind of art can help in grooming us and express ourselves, so with this motto a bulletin board making competition was organized for the classes I to XII at Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar.

 

                         All the classes were given topics for this well in advance. It was so much difficult for judges to select the best one. But they have to do their jobs so they did whichever class is going to win the competition was not a big deal but the spirit shown by the students and their hard work and what they learnt from the types of competition is important.

                      Winner of the Bulletin Board Competition were announced according to Class Level.

In I to V Level winners is on: V B – First Position, V A – Second Position, I A- Third position.

In VI to VIII Level winners is on: VI A- First position, VII B & VIII B- Second Position

In IX to XII Level winners is on: XI B-First Position, XI A & XII C- Second Position.

The Puppet Show!!! @SSPS

                  Today, 27^th April 2019, Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized a ‘Puppet show’ in Pre Primary wing.      

                                     The story of ‘Motu Patlu’ and few ‘Punchtantra’ tales were enacted with the help of the puppets. Behind the puppet theatre, teachers were managing the puppet. Through this the students learnt about the moral values. A quick & good response was given by the students, and they enjoyed the Puppet Show.

Celebration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji- Quiz Competition!!!

  “Education is divine expression in a man”

                        Not only the nation but across the frontiers also the celebration of 550^th birth anniversary of Sat Sahib Shri Guru Nanak dev Ji is going on since November 2018.  In the series so many activities to know and learn about Shri Guru Nanak dev ji’s teaching are taking place. Saint Soldier Public School is also commemorating the same with joy. From couple of weeks the students were well guided and assessed for the quiz series of different rounds.

                        For classes I to XII Class wise quiz was held and five top scorers were selected for the next round. In this next round the preliminary, a written based assessment was done to select level wise three top scorers. The levels were for students of classes- III to V, VI to VIII, and IX to X & XI to XII. On the basis of the result, teams were made.  On Thursday 25 April the grand session of Quiz took place with the gracious presence of School’s honorary Secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet Singh ji and the school Principal. It commenced with the prayer song. The quiz was of five rounds as- general, Mcqs, visual based, buzzer & rapid fire round. Team -A of classes III to V, Team –B of Classes VI to VIII, team –C of classes IX to X & team-D of classes XI to XII participated with three top scorers. All tried their best yet the crown deserved the best. To everyone’s surprise the team A of III to V students won the quiz with distinctive difference.

                             The winner team-A of Sonakshi Rathore of V-B , Yukti Singh of – V-B  and Divyansh Jain of III-A received certificate and appreciation from Secretary sir and Principal ma’am. The runner up team-B of Pariyam Singh-VIII A, Medhanshi Rathore of VII B and Suhani Soni of VII B and other teams also received certificates of participation. Here the school secretary guided the gathering to learn and follow the right path of Shri Gurunanak Dev Ji . The school Principal also motivated the students to follow the teachings and wished gratitude to everyone.

   

SAINT SOLDIER PUBLIC SCHOOL, ARRANGED "PARINDA" FOR BIRDS

                    “There is nothing more satisfying than providing drinking water to thirsty birds.”

               Saint Soldier Public School took an initiative to quench the thirst of innocent and speechless birds. Due to scorching hot, delegates of Rotary Club and students of Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar, jointly arranged drinking water pots in school premises for birds.

                         The initiative which was taken by the delegates of Rotary Club, developed a sense of dedication and belongingness towards birds and animals, Among the students. They promised to keep this initiative in future also.

                       The school Principal thanked the delegates of Rotary Club for their great contribution in this noble deed. And gave a message to students to take part in such type of noble deeds in future.

“Lemonade Party” @SSPS !!!

                          On 20^th April Saturday Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized a ‘Lemonade Party” in Pre primary wings.

                   The children were demonstrated how to prepare ‘Lemonade” by stirring sugar in the water and the squeezing lemon into it. Later on this instant and healthy lime water was relished by all the children. The idea behind this activity was to make the little ones understand the importance of drinking lemonade in summer. Children’s and teacher enjoyed the lemonade Party”.

Sporty Air Through Basketball @ SSPS !!!

                                             “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”

                                              To be happy and healthy with changing weather Saint Soldier Public School arranged Basket Ball inter-house matches for senior wing .The school has four houses Sahibzada Ajit Singh,Sahibzada Fateh Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar  Singh and Sahibzada Zorawar Singh. The students of senior classes from all four houses were filled with energy to play and win. The Basketball court was well arranged with flags of all houses and the school flag. Classes IX to XII became cheerful audience. The second match was played between Jujhar Singh and Zorawar Singh House.

                                                   The final match was played between Ajit Singh and Zorawar Singh house .With a clear difference of 16 to 6 points in a three round match Zorawar Singh house secured the winning title. The matches were conducted under the guidance of Mr. Praveen Singh and Mr. Netaram Dhakad. 

                                                     The school Principal  encouraged the Zorawar Singh house for its success and encouraged everyone to have sporty feelings.

Food-Cooking without Fire' SSPS !!!

Today on Monday 15^th April Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized an activity 'know about your Food-Cooking without Fire' in Pre-Primary Wing.

Food is life, Cooking is fun combine the two and you sure to discover that it is very easy to prepare a meal for oneself. Young learners of Pre-Primary (Nursery, K.G., and Prep) tried their hands on cooking without fire. Teachers and students made healthy sandwich, sprouted Bhel, and yummy other dishes. They served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way. Students were made aware of importance of homemade food. Our Principal Ma'am Mrs. Aruna Suresh motivated the student about activity.    

Baisakhi Celebration @ SSPS Pratap Nagar

                              Saint Soldier Public School celebrated Baisakhi with immense joy, fervor and excitement experienced amidst each one of us. The students presented a variety of programs like a Punjabi dance and Shabad Singing and also speech on various aspects of rural Punjab, its cultural heritage as the sowing, ploughing, harvesting, winnowing and gathering of crop.  They also spread the message of fraternity on account of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti. 

 

                              The school teachers told the children about the importance of the festival as it marks the Sikh new year and commemorates the formation of Khalsa panth of warriors under the guidance of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji. The students witnessed various events where everyone gladly enjoyed the program. Lastly Principal Ma'am Aruna Suresh motivated the particip[ating students for their efforts.  It was a memorably day to remember.

Fruits day at SSPS!!!

                                       Today on Thursday, 4^th April 2019, the Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar, celebrated ‘FRUITS DAY’ in the Pre primary wing.

                                  Teachers prepared the fruit props and also explained the importance of fruits intake in diet for mental and physical growth.Children and teachers recited rhymes on the fruits with great zeal. Children enjoyed the moments of joy and happiness by having fruit salad with the teacher.They also learnt the importance of fruits in a meal.

                          The school Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh, guided,  encouraged and motivated the little wonders.

Know your garden Activity!

        

                       Today Wednesday 3^rd April 2019, Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized the “Know your Garden Activity” in the Pre Primary wing.

                          Teacher visited to garden and introduced the children about the plants leaves, roots, fruits and flowers. And last all the students played in the garden. As beginning of the session students were made familiar with their teachers and students with the help of these kinds of activities. The school Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh encouraged the students with words of wisdom.

FUN WITH BALLOONS.......An activity to get acquainted with the School!

                                 Today on 2nd April, Tuesday Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized the "Fun with balloons" activity in Pre primary wing.

                Students of Pre Primary participated in this activity bursting the negative words. Teachers instructed children to burst the balloons with negative words and play with balloons having positive words like respect loving, caring, kindness etc. They had a wonderful time learning positive and negative words.

Welcome 2019-20@SSPS !!!

                 “Journey of thousand miles starts with first step”

                          On Monday, 1^st April 2019, SSPS welcomed students for the new session 2019-20. First day assembly was presented by teachers. The Teachers presented prayer song, welcome song, news, new words. A beautiful skit on save water was presented by the teachers. 

                             The very first day of the session at SSPS began with a good message. Then all the new students were welcomed by applying tilak and it is the tradition of SSPS that every programme gets its end with an inspirational story by the School Principal Ma’am, so ma’am told a story and gave her good wishes to the students.

                                   The day was observed as a half working day for the students. Rules & regulation were informed to the students with the first day activity. Students enjoyed the first day and motivated to be regular to school.
