Welcoming students on the first day of School @SSPS

School is back in session and it's awesome to see everyone on campus! Summer was sunny, fun, relaxing and full of adventure (just as it should be!), but we're ready to be back. The school was so dull without students and was good to retain its vibrant mode with the presence of students.

27th June, 2019 Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar reopened and welcomed students with special assembly prepared by the teachers. YOGA DIWAS @SSPS

“TRUE DIVINE LIES IN TRUE HEALTH”

It was a day of excitement for the teachers and students both as school has just resumed from a month long summer vacation. Since its inception in the year 2015, June 21st is celebrated as The International Day in Saint Soldier Public School every year. “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with oneself, the world and the nature.
By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well being.” Under the guidance of physical instructor Mr. Netaram Dhaked who demonstrated various asanas followed by Omkar chanting  warm up exercises & asanas as Padmasana, Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Madhya Padmasana, Trikonasana, Vajrasna ,Bhujangasana, Shavasana and Surya Namashkara were performed by  all the students  and teachers.
The school Principal  also did yoga with enthusiasm. Importance of yoga was explained simultaneously.  Everyone took an oath to do Yoga regularly as it keeps us healthy. At last Principal Ma’am gave vote of thanks to all for the nice conduct of the day. Regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
