Eco Club Activity!!! Use Paper Bags!!

                      As the saying goes ‘a healthy mind resides in a healthy body and a healthy body resides in a healthy environment.’ To make this quote true today the students of Eco-club presented their activity on the harmful effect of poly bags as plastic is a non biodegradable substance. 

                                                        The club members demonstrated how we can make paper bags instead of poly bags to save and protect our environment. Ayush Gupta of class IX demonstrated to the whole school how to make and use paper bags.

Funancial quest!!

                                  A financial quest was organised in the school today by the NSE FINANCE MASTER MIND. It was organised by Mr. Sunil from NSE.Today’s session began with a questionnaire to the students of class VII,VIII and IX with OMR sheet.

 It's a follow-up programme of the NSE programme held before.The students had to fill the answers in it respectively. The students were also given a roll no card. The winners will be given certificates with the promise to be taken to the next two levels.

The students were disciplined and showed their inclination towards the session and participated actively!

Togetherness programme!! (NURSERY)

   

A togetherness programme of nursery was held on 18-2-13.The parents were invited and they took part actively. This programme was comprised of various activities like colouring activity, craft activities and games. There was a competition on COOKING WITHOUT FIRE for the
 parents.
       
Parents came out with new innovative ideas.Parents did colouring, art activity and played one minute game and finally the most interactive parents were crowned.

                                 The parents enjoyed the programme dancing with their kids and had a wonderful time. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Principal Mam followed by refreshments to the parents.

K.G. Togetherness Programme!!

K.G. Togetherness Programme

Date:- 19-2-13( Tuesday)

                               A togetherness program of K.G. was held on 19-2-13. The programme was comprised of different activities like thumb print activity, craft activities and games there was a competition cooking without fire.Parents took part in all the activities enthusiastically!!

 
Parents brought materials for Bhelpuri. Parents enjoyed the program  and they danced with their children and had great time. This program was concluded by vote of thanks by Principal  Madam   followed by refreshments.

Skit Competition!!!

Date: - 16-2-13(Saturday)

               Drama is the best way to enhance the innate qualities of children, also to build up their confidence and develop in them the best oratory skills.

 


Hence, to do the same a Skit competition was organised for the primary section.







  
 Our young enthusiastic buddies put their best foot froward and presented the drama based on moral values.









All the classes gave spell-bound performances. The session ended up with the encouraging words of Principal ma’am. 1^st Std stole away the I  position and 2^nd  Std  A section got II position.

Basant Panchami Celebration!!

Date: - 15-02-13(Friday)

                                         Basant Panchami is a festival that worships Goddess Saraswati as well as it signifies the beginning of spring season. It is believed that on this day Goddess Saraswati endows human beings with the powers of speech, wisdom and consciousness.

                                             Thus, on this occasion of Basant Panchami we had a small celebration in our school praying to Goddess Saraswati to bless us with huge wealth of knowledge. The celebration began with a welcome song of spring season. Thereafter a speech was given letting us a brief history and importance of Basant Panchami. Then, Principal Ma’am along with the teachers initiated the puja of Goddess Saraswati and offered flowers, sweets and garlands. At last, the students came one by one to take blessings of Goddess Saraswati.

Know about ‘IKEBANA’- Flower arrangement Competition!!!

 Date: - 2-2-13(Saturday)

                    Ikebana, one of the traditional arts of Japan, has been practised for more than 60 years. It is an art with specified principles, theories and developed technical skills. It is one of the most creative forms of expression. An Ikebana competition was held in our school on 2-2-13 with the motive to inculcate in students the development of Ecstatic means of expression through the flower decoration.

Students of VI,VII and VIII students participated in it. The students of all four houses decorated flowers systematically with spiritual colours depicting the ‘THE HEAVEN’, ‘THE EARTH’ AND ‘THE MAN’.
