The programme began with the school prayer
followed by the unfurling of our national flag and national anthem. After this
we initiated with the our cultural programme wherein the students presented a
beautiful glimpse unity in diversity through their Dance Drama giving the
message that India is one soul country
in the world spreading harmony to rest of the world. Subsequently the students
very outstandingly and melodiously presented "kawali" signifying that we all are
one in spite of having varied differences.
The students also paid tribute and gratitude to
the thousands of martyrs who fought for us, through their English and Hindi
speech respectively illustrating the path of freedom struggle. Not behind were
our tiny tots who displayed an inspiring act of our great freedom fighters and
touched everybody’s heart. The students of class VI came forward with a healthy
spirit of discipline through their drill.
Independence Day is a mark of great delight and
joy of patriotism hence came our young talents expressing their elation through
a Patriotic Dance.
The function concluded with the words of encouragement
by our honourable guest Dr. Jitendra Singh Makkar.
At the end our respected Principal Ma’am Ms.
Gayatri Kulshreshta came forward and expressed gratitude by giving vote of
thanks to everyone present there.
The programme ended on a very patriotic note
marking yet one more year of our independence.
