Mock Parliament Inter School Competition

Today our school conducted an Inter School Mock Parliament Competition on the topic “Capital Punishment Is Justified” in which 9 reputed schools of Jaipur namely Saint Soldier Public School main branch, ST. Anslem’s North City School, Jaipuria Vidayalaya, ST. Edmund’s School, M.P.S Pratap Nagar, Subodh Public School, Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan Vidyashram, MPS International, M.P.S Jawahar Nagar, and last not the least the host S.S.P.S Pratap Nagar participated.
 We were blessed to have with us as chief guest regarded Sardar Jasbeer Singh ji (Former Chairman of Rajasthan State Commission for Minorities and Treasurer of the School), Sardar Gurjinder Singh Gill and our respected Secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet Singh ji.
We were also privileged to have with us as judge’s Mr. Surendra Kumar (retired advocate of Delhi high court) and Mr.  Ravi Dayal (Geological Consultant at Caldery’s India Refactories Ltd.)

The session lasted for one hour. There were ten students each in favour of the motion who represented themselves as ‘Government’ and ten students against the motion who represented themselves as ‘Oppostion’. The complete session was conducted by Sukanya Chakrovarthy as the speaker. The session was really astounding and interactive. Students very nicely debated on their views.
First position was bagged by Manan Kumar Garg MPS Jawahar Nagar, second and third positions were bagged by Prateek Anand and Bhupen Verma of Jaipuria Vidyalaya. The winners were awarded with certificates and trophies by the chief guest. 
Our regarded judges were felicitated with mementoes by our respected secretary sir for their valuable presence. At last the chief guest motivated and congratulated all the students for their efforts and participation.

On a concluding note vote of thanks was given to thank our guests, judges and dear parents who took out their precious time to witness this session.

Sport's Day Event

Games play an important role in our lives. It keeps us hale and hearty. These inculcates sportsman spirit, provide us opportunity to expand our lives. These prepare us to develop fighting spirit to face life’s onslaught challenges.

There was a sports event organized for Class I to V. There were an array of many interesting games, like jalebi Race, banana Race, One leg race, three leg races, Bindi Race, Crawling under the desk and Bottle filling Race. The students were very enthusiastic to see very interesting races, they enjoyed themselves. All the participants participated with lot of excitement and enthusiasm. The event ended with viberant note.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

The festive occasion of Dussehra brings the victory of virtue over vices. Today our school witnessed Dussehra celebration in the morning assembly.
Navratra & Dussehra was celebrated in Pre primary wing of the school. Students came in their traditional dresses with dandiya as Garba dance was organized for our tiny tots.
Students of Standard I to V presented a short skit depicting the narration that how Lord Rama defeated & brought to an end of the evils done by marking the triumph of truth. It visualized the victory of truth over evil powers. It was a heart –touching performance by our tiny tots. At last, our respected Principal Ma’am congratulated the students along with the teachers for such a nice and inspiring effort.

Mock Parliament Competition

Date-12-10-15
Today our school organized a Mock Parliament session for classes IX and X on the topic s“The political class of India has failed to meet the aspiration of India’s youth”. There were 10 students each on both sides. The session was conducted by the speaker. Students presented their ideas and debated on the issue with relevant facts. The students also contradicted on the need of youth for the development of our nation and at the same time appealed for the change in order to reward only those actions that benefit all citizens, and citizens should also corporate with the government and support it. At, last our respected Principal Ma’am announced the result and emphasized on the qualities to be a good leader and a good spokesman.
I position was bagged by Sumit of class X-B

II position was bagged by Ishneet of class IX-A and Aadarsh of class IX -A

TABLE MANNER ACTIVITY

Table manners activity was held in pre primary wing of the school. Teachers arranged tables in the classroom accordingly children brought proper food-Vegetables, Chapattis, Rice, Salad, Sweets in their tiffin books. They also brought spoon, fast and napkins. Teachers gave explanation about table manners i.e, do not not during lunch, How to use spoon, fork and napkin.

Children enjoyed the activity very much.


Mahatma Gandhi & Lal bahadur Jayanti


Lal bahadur Shastri was born on Oct 2 1904, at Mughalsarai, Varanasi as Lal Bahadur Shrivastava., and Shastriji joined the Indian independence movement in the 1920s. Deeply impressed and influenced by Mahatma Gandhi, he became a loyal follower, first of Gandhi, and then of Jawaharlal Nehru.
For their incredible work and freedom that they gave us their birthday is celebrated all over India as Gandhi &Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti.

Our school also witnessed celebration of Gandhi Jayanti and LalbahadurShastriJayanti. The students of class VII presented a melodious song performance which was enjoyed by the audience students learnt that one can mould one’s thoughts and mind in a positive manner to develop the physical and mental courage to act with conviction.

Poster Making & Essay Writing Competition

Our school was privileged to conduct essay writing and Poster making competition on 3rd oct. The Theme of the competition was “Dussehra”.
Festival of Dussehra fills us with positively and reminds the victory of truth over evil.
Students of Std-I to V participated in Poster Making Competition and filled the color of joy in their paintings and depicted the enhanced creativity of young solderites enhanced creativity of young solderites. At the same we had. Essay Writing Competition for Std- VI to XI.
 

This competition too was a great boost to students to improve their expression and mark significant impression of their own potential and raise their self-confidence. This competition let the creative ideas generate within budding writers of our school.

The purpose of these competitions was to enhance the abilities of students as it is very essential to conquer ourselves with our strength & qualities in this competition world.
