SHABAD KIRTAN @SSPS!!!


                                                                     SHABAD KIRTAN has been an integral part of Sikh worship from the very beginning. Hymn-singing was in fact the earliest form of devotion for the Sikhs to render praise to the Lord. A SHABADH KIRTAN was organized at Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar, to commemorate the martyrdom of the 
SAHIBZADA AJIT SINGH,
SAHIBZADA JUJHAR SINGH,
SAHIBZADA ZORAWAR SINGH,
SAHIBZADA FATEH SINGH.

                                                                           Students presented the kirtan with high spiritual feelings and praised the Lord. Indeed, in their deeply meditative Kirtan the students represented the universal human soul, longing for union with the Beloved Lord, the Creator Being.  The kirtan was in perfect sur-taal and touched the human soul.  A session on recalling the history of martyred sons of Tenth Guru Gobind Singhji was also done by the students.

Paper bags instead of plastic bags!!!


                                                           On the fine morning of Thursday 20 Dec. 2018, a Panel discussion was conducted in the assembly on the dangers of using plastic bags and usage of paper bags instead of plastic bags. Here the stress was laid on the harmful effects of plastic bags as they are used in a huge quantity. The children were advised to use paper bags in place of plastic bags since it is recyclable and environment friendly.
                                                                               As plastic is a harmful, a contaminant content for human body as well as for planet there should be no use of plastic items. Paper bags can easily be used and they don’t contain any harmful substance. For all those reasons it was suggested to stop using plastic bags. The school Principal Mrs. Aruna suresh appreciated the young ones for their efforts in making the panel discussion a success.

Teachers’ grooming-Classroom management @SSPS


                            On the fine day of Saturday 15th December 2018 a workshop to cope up with stress to manage classroom effectively was organized for teachers of school. The workshop was arranged under the aegis of Oxford University Press with Mr. Dipen Singh, a scholastic researcher and motivational speaker, along with Mrs. Priyanka Dixit, the oxford press representative as resource persons.  They were welcomed by the School Principal Mrs. Aruna Suresh.



During the workshop the focus was laid to work stress freely while managing classroom activities effectively working as a team. To have a nice work culture some research analysis were well discussed. Team tasking and its aspects, as to know the child and opting remedial techniques were experienced. Towards the end honourable Secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet Singh Ji gave his hearty wishes to the resource persons for conduction of this workshop. He also encouraged all the teachers to invent and use new and effective techniques for smooth teaching with a positive note to have more workshops like this.

Being Rational….Being Best Hindi Debate Competition @SSPS


                                              A Hindi debate Competition on the topic ‘Should festivals be celebrated in time limit was organized in SSPS on Monday 3 December 2018.

                                  Here the students of class 6th to 9th participated house wise. The morning assembly had a battle of wits and eloquence. Students of all four houses raised their opinions for pros. and cons. Some favoured for this as a limit for goodness while others debated to have free hold on celebration. Students presented themselves to be rational enough to sustain their opinions. The others were good audience to know advantages and disadvantages. After strong rebuttals the session ended. This session was judged by Mrs. Asha and Mrs. Jyoti (Hindi Teachers).

Choose A Colour Activity!!!


                       On the very fine morning of 1st December 2018, Saturday Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized a “Choose A Colour Activity” in Pre Primary wings. Students of Pre Primary participated in this activity and learnt about the colours.

                     They chose the colour of their mood and pasted on the board and the final outcome was a wonderful tree with coloured leaves.

My FM Rangrezz Painting Competition !!!


                        On Saturday 1st December 94.3 My FM had organized ‘Rangrezz’ Painting Competition in our school at SSPS. The theme of this activity was ‘Incredible India’.

                       RJ of My FM 94.3 station Mr. Yogi was there to motivate the students. Students of class VI to IX had participated in that with lot of enthusiasm. Our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh appreciated the efforts of the students.

Karate Championship @SSPS


                                                                                           On 17th and 18th November 2018, The Minshukayi open National Karate Championship was organized in the campus of Rajasthan University’s Sports complex.


                                                                              Netik Pareek’ of Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap nagar of the Sub Junior category took part in the competition. For Kata and Kumitae techniques he hit and secured gold and bronze medals. The  school Principal Mrs. Aruna Suresh congratulated the student (Netik Pareek) and the coach (Mr. Surendra Singh) for their achievements.

INTER HOUSE SHABAD SINGING COMPETITION @SSPS


SHABAD KIRTAN….SAANS  ……SAANS…….SUMIRAN
                                                                         On Saturday, 24 Nov. 2018, the students of SSPS brought deistical relief on every face. Since the hymn singing is an integral part of Sikh ,  so the Sumiran to almighty creator was done  to render the devotion in God. House wise Shabad Singing Competition was arranged. 10 students from each house sung the hymns to celebrate the incarnation day of founder and first Guru of Sikh Pant   Shri Gurunanak Dev ji. Students presented the shabad kirtan nicely with musical instruments. Their meditative and reflexive voice filled the air with staunch devotion to the almighty creator.


                                                                                                     At last the results were announced to the students. Sahibzada Ajit Singh House secured First position, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh singh respectively secured second & third positions. Our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh enlightened our students with her words of encouragement. It was a joyful day to remember.

Innovation Workshop@SSPS !!!


                                          We want ideals or models to follow or get inspired. We have so many great personalities in our society who fought against their fate and achieved success in their life. One of them is famous Scientist ‘Stephen William Hawking’.
                              An organization named innovation held as workshop today in SSPS for the students. They told them about Stephen William Hawking’s life, his childhood, his disease, his struggle and how he overcome his physical disabilities and with the help of mental toughness became famous scientist. Student’s took inspiration from Stephen William Hawking. This workshop was organized to give a tribute to the legend.


                                           

Spiritual Shobha Yatra !!!

                                                                           The Sikh Community organised a spiritual Sobha Yatra with a view to developing spirituality social and political platform for equality, developing sense of dedication, belongingness, coordination, and virtue. Sikh Community who has always been inspiring people, inspired to lead a simple and spiritual life with purpose of serving humanity. To mark the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, which is approaching on 23rd November, a Nagar Kirtan was organized on Nov. 18 which commenced from Chaura Rasta, and ended at Gurudwara, Chandi Ki Taksal, at Badi Chaupar.

                                       
                                                           The staff members and students of classes IX & XI of Saint Soldier Public School,  Pratap Nagar were fortunate to be a part of this Nagar Kirtan and had a very splendid Shobha Yatra under the guidance of honourable Secretary Sir and Respected Principal Ma’am.

                             The procession started at 3 PM. Students took part in it with full of zeal and enthusiasm and with feeling of spiritualism all the students as well as teachers hide a very good time and it was worth participating. They seeked blessings of Guru Nanak Dev ji by praying in Guru Dwara. All the devotees appreciated the students and raised religious slogans. This was a pious and rewarding experience for all. The Nagar Kirtan concluded on a religious note.

WORKSHOP ON CAREER COUNSELING !!!


                                       Career advice and guidance acts as a stepping stone for success. In order to let career move in right direction, one must know the path to follow. Hence a career counseling workshop was organized by the counselors of Amity University for the students of class XII.

                         In this session the students were guided and counseled by Mrs. Jaslin Chawla , kulvinder Singh chawla and Tarun Bairagi  according to their streams to pursue and attain success in their ambition.The first step told to them to achieve their goals was to assess them. Each individual has different talents and interests therefore to determine what they would enjoy and excel at by taking career assessments and following their passion.
                                     The students were guided to rise above their fears to have a fair vision for future. The team gave the guru Mantra of planning, promotion and adaptability.   This motivational seminar ended with a video of big dreamers who dare to do something & finally achieve something. This workshop helped the students to cope up with their fears & to remove all the hindrances.  Later in the questionnaire Archana Peepliwal of class XII a won USB Pen Drive as a gift. At the end the our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh thanked the team for guidance.

School tournament @ SSPS !!!


All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’
                                      The sporty spirit with childlike enjoyment filled the air of school when games were arranged for students on the occasion of Children’s Day in Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar. Inter house tournaments were arranged with the kho-kho and Volleyball matches with confident arms.
                         The traditional game of Kho Kho took place for classes 9th & 10th. The final was played between Ajit Singh house and Zorawar singh House. In a tough competition the victory was secured by the Ajit singh House. 

                                          Then another sturdy sport of Volleyball was arranged for 11th & 12th classes. Where in a tooth to nail competition winning position was secured by Jujhar singh house playing against Ajit singh house.  After every game our Respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh Congratulated all students for their fair play spirit and conferred on the certificate the winners.

Children’s Day Celebrated


An innocent cuddle and a lovely smile,
         Are the joys of parenthood, which is worthwhile!
                 Happy Children’s Day..!!
                           On the very fine morning of 14th November 2018, Children’s Day was celebrated at Saint Soldier public School, Pratap nagar with full zeal and enthusiasm. This day being the Birthday of Chacha Nehru was much enjoyed with different varieties of delicious food like- Dahi Papdi, Bhel-Puri, Fruit Curd, Sandwich, Paani-Puri, Ice-cream, Pastries and Chatpata Aloo Chat etc. were arranged by the students. Some games like hitting balloon, Matching matchstick were also played. All the teachers and students enjoyed a lot and had a wonderful time.
                             The fete was a great hit and the food stalls were finished before time, Nevertheless, the event was as always, a resounding success. The purpose of the fete was to develop a sense of coordination, making budget joy giving through charity and self-Independence through entrepreneurship. And the amount collected from all the stalls will be given as Charity to a organisation which takes care of orphans or old age people or slum girls.
                     Our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh wished a very happy Children's day to all the students.

DIWALI CELEBRATION@SSPS !!!

                                                              The morning of 3rd Nov. 2018, Saturday for this auspicious festive season was crowned with colours of joy and blessings in Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. 
                                                                                                          Everybody was engaged in enjoying celebration with lots of messages and blessings through many different performances. A skit over healthy and safe Diwali was presented. Students participated enthusiastically to give the message of eco-friendly Diwali. Adding more to this house wise Rangoli Making Competition was also organized for the students and classes I to VIII also made Ragolis. 
                                                                               For the Rangoli celebration Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House secured the first POSITION AND Sahibzada Fateh Singh House and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh House won Second & Third positions respectively.

                                                                      The atmosphere of fest was enchanted by the whole hearted exchanges of blessings to each other. Mehandi competition was also enjoyed by the students of class VI to VIII.
                                                                                     The tiny tots of Pre Primary wing celebrated ‘Diwali’ by making beautiful Paper Diya’s. Our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh gave hearty blessings for happy Diwali to the staffs and students.

Celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas!!!


                                     Today 31st October was celebrated as National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) at SSPS to commemorate the birth anniversary of our great leader and freedom fighter Sardar VallabhBhai Patel.
                                 The following activities were held in the school campus. The students, teachers and the Principal took the Rashtriya Ekta pledge sincerely. The students were made aware of the life history of the Iron man of India with pictures and his contribution towards National unity.

SEWA Activities @SSPS


“Education is not preparation for life, Education is life itself.”
                             The past two months had been wonderful and entertaining when the students worked for social empowerment through work and action, i.e. SEWA. Under the aegis of CBSE this newly and effectively launched co-curriculum part is well designed and decorated that students enjoyed real way learning in practical manner. While the teachers were only mentors to guide.
The students of class IX to XII students performed exercises like as:

Class IX A- ‘Emphasize on Girls Education’ Aiming at girls education the peers of class a created awareness through wordly wisdom of ‘Nukkad Nataka’ and slogans & Posters. They shared data about education percentage of girls in centre and state schools. ‘One girl educated means the whole family is educated.’


Class IX B- To develop a beginner’s knowledge towards hazards of heavy and rash driving over roads. The groups of students visited all classes for awareness about red to stop and green to go other symbols and signs of precaution were demonstration threw charts in reality like situations.



Class IX C- Advantages of healthy food aiming at ‘Health is Wealth’ the class insisted on balanced diet. The students were in groups. Each group had its own stake as telling upon nutrition values present in eatables, required calories, digestion & balanced diet. To have a hit nation & fit nation (Hi-Fi) they encouraged others to follow balanced diet.

Class X A- Doing away with pollution through visualization of polluted areas and cause of it. The student ran awareness among others. Through PowerPoint presentation. They discussed the pollutants at length. They gave pure.

Class X B- ‘Say no to Plastic’ bags’
The class told upon the harms and hazards caused due to plastic bags. Each student made paper bags which could easily be used in the place of plastic bags. They visited lower class to aware young petals about it. They also showcased how to make paper bags.


Class- XI A Awareness to cleanliness
The dream of nation’s father have a clean and heigenic nation was well cherished by class students. They work for the campus cleaning and proper sanitation towards drinking water taps. They also ran awareness for waste management.

Class XI B- Cyber crimes and cyber security to explore more about cyber crime and how to say away of it was well portrayed by class XI B students. Powerpoint Presentation and a well enacted ‘Nukkad Nataka’ left a better understanding on every mind.


 Class XI C- Heritage conversation in India To aware about rich heritage of India class students discussed the vulnerability sage of Indian heritage. They offered opinions about heritage safety by every single individual. Through a Nukkad Nataka they presented their views to have a clear vision in every mind. The role & strategy of every citizen was discussed.

Class XII A- The First Aid
The fast pacing life and pains related to it were discussed when the students of the class demonstrated the use of first-aid kit. All the students made first-aid kits and then according to the groups they showcased first-aid for burning strain-sprain, fracture, drowning healing wounds and they also discussed the precautions to be taken care against viruses as Zika and Nipah.
   











      
                                                            Class XII B- Cleanliness for disease prevention with the objective of community sanitation for better health condition the groups of class students prepared PowerPoint presentations, and Charts. They held a deliberate discussion and questionnaire on cleanliness drives and its implementation. The students who gave solutions to the problems received bookmarks made

Special Assembly on UN DAY!!!

                                                           "The United Nations system is still the best instrument for making the world less fragile."
                                                 The occasion of UN Day brings knowledge about the United Nations and the member countries. Today our school witnessed a special assembly based on UN Day.
                                                             Students of standard VI A presented a Mime on the principles of United Nations. Students presented speech on ‘UN Day’ to make students aware about the importance this international body. At last our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh questioned about the United nations and concluded the assembly

WORLD FOOD DAY !!!




                                       World Food Day 2018 is celebrated across the globe on 16th of October. In our school, Students from 6, 7 and 8 classes presented to their peers about ‘WORLD FOOD”. Four students from each class shared about the food and the culture from different countries. They also made an artistic model of the local food from the country, to show to their peers. The Principal reason behind launching and celebrating world food day is to secure and advance the food security across the world, particularly in days of the crisis.                                                                                                                               The students who attended the world food day celebration were able to learn all about the local food dishes from the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, China and India.


Dandiya & Dussehra Celebrations!!!

                                                                              “A Time for Celebration, A Time for Victory of Good Over Bad, A time when world see the example of power of Good. Let us continue the same true spirit.”
                                             The festive occasion of Dussehra brings the victory of virtue over vices. Today our school witnessed Dussehra celebration in the morning assembly. Dandiya & Dussehra was celebrated in our school. Students came in their traditional dresses and played.                                                                                                                                        Students of Standard VII presented a skit on depicting that sharing, caring and doing good is worth living. Students of classes III to VIII performed and played dandiya. After dandiya we also burnt Ravana and with him the bad deads also got burnt and good deeds got engrossed in each one of us. At last, our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh congratulated the students along with the teachers for such a nice and inspiring effort.

IHMCS Star Chef Competition 2018 @ SSPS!!!


                                                  IHMCS conducted Star Chef Competition, 2018 in our Campus on 4th Oct. 2018, and the following teams were selected for the second round.


                                      Team A - Aditi Modi, Dakshika Prajapati, Priyanshu Jain

                        Team B- Devendra Singh, Priyanshu Goyal, Keshav Khandelwal

                        Team F - Charu Nandwani, Akshita Tomar

                                           The Second round will be held in IHMCS campus and it will be an “On the spot competition”. The school wishes the selected teams GOOD LUCK !

“Prevention is better than cure”


                                                     Under the light of above statement a health checkup camp with view to diagnose, detect and protect was held at Saint Soldier public School, Pratap Nagar. For two days i.e. Saturday 6th October and Monday 9th Oct. teams of physicians, eye specialists and BDS (Dental) were invited. Under the 4th strands of CBSE-SEWA reforms this health and physical record was done.
                                                                     The health cards of students were duly filled after check-ups and precautionary medicines were guided to them. The school tries every mean to fulfill the criterion of holistic health in terms of physical and mental.  The students were also guided for routine health check-ups for better health. Our Respected Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh deliberately praised the check-ups while thanked the doctors and their team.
