On Saturday 9th
Feb. 2019, the colourful festival of ‘Basant Panchami’ was celebrated
with full zeal and enthusiasm at Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar.
The celebration initiated
in a customary manner by lighting Diya before the idol of goddess Maa Sarawati.
A melodious song was presented by the student welcoming the spring season, then
a short and sweet speech was presented by the student explaining the importance
of Basant Panchami to the students.
At the end all students
were invited individually to take blessing from goddess Saraswati and sweets
were also distributed to them. Towards last the school Principal explained the importance of pious occasion and wished everyone a very happy
Basant Panchami.
