Plastic bags are used by everybody. You get them, right from a vegetable vendor to a designer store. But, most of us are blissfully off the repercussions that are occurring and can take place in the future. These plastic bags Litter the Landscape, Kill Animals, and are Non-biodegradable. They are not only non-biodegradable, but are one of the major pollutants of the sea.
So in order to spread awareness among the students “ Say No To Plastic Bags “ house wise competition was held in which each house had to make alternative to plastic bags with the help of waste cloth or jute material.
Five students from each house were selected and were given time to prepare the bags with their material.
The participants displayed their passion for the activity and very ingeniously prepared bags out of waste jeans, jute and cotton material. The participants also marvelously decorated their bags to make it more eye-catching and handy.
