Children's Day Celebrated As sports Day

Children’s Day the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, was  celebrated as ‘Sports day’ in the school on Nov 14, 2014. As Jawaharlal Nehru was very fond of children and children also loved him a lot. So his birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day. To make this day fun filled for the children an array of interesting games followed by many entertaining cultural events were organized. The programme commenced with the prayer.







Respected Secretary Sir Gurmeet Singh Ji honoured the seat of chief guest. After prayer student presented welcome cards to secretary sir. As begging blessings from lord Ganesha is believed auspicious for success of any programme, Ganesh Vandana was performed by Lotus Kathuria and Kanika Ojha of Classes XI A and X A respectively . After that all the events started. There were races like Banana Race, Lemon Race, Crawling under the Desk, Back Balloon Balance Race, Jumping over the Partner Race, Hurdle Race, Relay Race and filling up the bottles.
There were special events organized specially for Pre-Primary section such as flower Race, Toffee Race and Ready for school Race. The tiny tots enjoyed a lot during the races. The sports events were followed by two dance performance, Contemporary and Bhangara under the guidance of teachers.
All the winners of races were awarded with certificates by respected Secretary Sir. The students, who went for Shabad singing on Guru Nanak Jayanti Nov 6, at Gurudwara Raja Park, were also bestowed with momentoes for their remarkable performance of Shabad. Later respected Secretary sir encouraged all the students with his motivational words and gave message of becoming a good values during school time. Sahibzada Fateh Singh and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh houses collectively stood first in overall sports results of sports events.
Thus the programme ended with sporty spirit. The students enjoyed the programme.

His blessings served as a guiding light for students embarking on this new academic journey. Principal, Mrs. Charu Gupta, also addressed the gathering with her encouraging words. She welcomed the students warmly and highlighted the importance of regularity, sincerity, and a positive attitude towards learning. She urged students to believe in themselves, respect their teachers, and uphold the values of the school. The assembly concluded on an uplifting note, leaving students energized and ready to begin the new session with zeal and determination. The day marked not just the start of a new academic year, but also the beginning of new dreams, aspirations, and achievements.
