Kindle aims to foster child’s love for
reading in a fun and interactive way. Therefore ‘Read to lead’, a book–reading
competition that recognizes and rewards child for his/ her oratory skills was
organized for classes IV- X.
This was an individual event and each
student was given one minute time to read from the kindle, students were also
let free to choose any one book from the given list for the competition.
The contest also motivated children to
convert their passion for reading into presentation and public speaking skills
that are necessary for their overall development.
The contest was designed exclusively
for readers. This was a varied contest for then students which they enjoyed
thoroughly and enthusiastically exhibited their flair for reading.
