Muskan for road, Mohan foundation in collaboration
with Edify world school organised “United Nations Remembrance Day for Traffic
Victims” at Jawahar KalaKendra on 20th of Nov,2016. The motive of
the programme was to empathize the pain of the families who lost their dear
ones in road accidents. The students of around 28 schools participated in this
programme and presented dance and songs based on theme ‘Road Safety’.
All
the students of 28 schools at the same time on stage presenting the soulful
song gave a mesmerizing feeling to everyone. The students and parents present
there were guided the traffic rules and were made to take pledge to follow
traffic rules and create awareness. The programme proved a learning experience
for everyone present there and a watch word was ticking in mind that “Drive
Safely”.
