IHMCS Star Chef Competition 2018 @ SSPS!!!

IHMCS conducted Star Chef Competition, 2018 in our Campus on 4th Oct. 2018, and the following teams were selected for the second round.

Team A - Aditi Modi, Dakshika Prajapati, Priyanshu Jain
                        Team B- Devendra Singh, Priyanshu Goyal, Keshav Khandelwal
                        Team F - Charu Nandwani, Akshita Tomar

The Second round will be held in IHMCS campus and it will be an “On the spot competition”. The school wishes the selected teams GOOD LUCK !

“Prevention is better than cure”

Under the light of above statement a health checkup camp with view to diagnose, detect and protect was held at Saint Soldier public School, Pratap Nagar. For two days i.e. Saturday 6th October and Monday 9th Oct. teams of physicians, eye specialists and BDS (Dental) were invited. Under the 4th strands of CBSE-SEWA reforms this health and physical record was done.
                                                                     The health cards of students were duly filled after check-ups and precautionary medicines were guided to them. The school tries every mean to fulfill the criterion of holistic health in terms of physical and mental.The students were also guided for routine health check-ups for better health. Our Respected Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh deliberately praised the check-ups while thanked the doctors and their team.

Bulletin Board Making Competition !!!

On Saturday 6th October 2018 a Bulletin Board Making contest was organized for Classes VI to IX. It was based on the theme ‘Let us be Eco-friendly’.

Students made eco-friendly pictures, slogans and drawing. They participated with full enthusiasm and the students learnt about the means and ways to be eco-friendly.

‘No use of Plastic bags’

Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap nagar witnessed a special assembly on the theme “No poly bags an eye opener”.

Class III students performed a skit with this message. They taught about the harms of using plastic bags on the earth. A speech was also presented in front of the students by class IV on the topic ‘No use of Plastic’ and use cloth bags. They pledge to reduce use of plastic to save the environment.

A Career Counselling Session with JKLU-Innovation Challenge-2018

On the fine morning of Friday, 05 October 2018 a career guidance seminar was held in SSPS campus. ‘How to choose a career’ and how to enhance skills are the major queries of young ones now a days. So, Miss Surbhi Tripathi, the resource person and career guide from JKLU visited the campus to discuss about skills and prerequisites. She was welcomed and introduced by our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh. ‘JKLU innovation challenge 2018’ is the competition to provide an idea based on currently available resources. The challenge calls for feasible contribution to achieve sustainable development. It offers prizes as 1stPrize is Rs 1 lac, 2ndPrize Rs. 50,000 and 3rdprize is 30,000. It will also give 10 consolation prizes to 10 outstanding entries. 
 She also told about the UNO’s mission of sustainable development over 17 chosen fields for this competition. Students showed their willingness to participate in the JKLU innovation challenge-2018.

Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti Celebrated!!!

On 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar showing short glimpes on life of Mahatama Gandhi and Lal BahadurShastri was presented by students. By that actvity they came to know that how these legends adopted moral values and ehtics in their life.
                                                                          Students presented skits based on these legends and showed these leaders honesty, sense of dedication and belongingness for the country and got motivated by these. At last the programme was ended with Gandhiji’s favourite Bhajan “Raghu Pati Raghav Raja Raam”, and a multifaith prayer was also presented. Our respected Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh motivated all students to adopt these values in their lives. In Pre Primary wing, Children dressed up like Gandhi ji & Lal Bahadur Shastri ji, and learnt about these inspiring leaders.

Surgical Strike Day!!!

As per the guidelines from CBSE, surgical strike day was celebrated and the students were asked to write letter to the army men and also they made beautiful cards to the soldiers who undergo all sufferings to protect the country.

Hindi Diwas @SSPS !!!

In celebration of ‘Hindi Diwas’ on 14th September, all four houses proved their language competence in a Hindi debate competition. Eight students presented their arguments to their fellow classmates. Each student received three minutes to convince all of his or her position. The topic of the debate was should society have ^‘o`)kJe gksus pkfg, ;k ugha’ .Two students of each house to take their stake for pros and cons respectively, presented their convincing arguments with mincing of words. 
                                                The debate provided class 6th, 7th and 8thstudents with the ability to practice their Hindi grammar, construct strong arguments on a topic and again experience speaking in front of a large crowd. Students in the audience heard these thought provoking arguments from their classmates and were able to form their own opinions on old age homes while listening. Prize Distribution Ceremony @ SSPS !!!

                                       Today on 8th Sept. 2018 SSPS organized a prize distribution programme for the winners of the Indian Independence History Quiz contest, held on 1st Sept. Our Respected Secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet Singh Ji gave the prizes and certificates to the winners of the quiz. There were 5 teams and Team E was the winner, Runner up team was Team D.

                                 Third position secured by Team B. Team A, C got the certificates for participation. Students who participated in various ‘Shabad Kirtan’ programme organized in session of 2017-18 were also given prizes. Students who utilized their Library period and reviewed books and submitted were also appreciated with stars.                                  Respected Secretary Sir also appreciated the efforts of those students who had prepared book review in nice and presentable way. ‘I bow to the ultimate truth of my Guru’

The fine morning of Wednesday, 05 Sept. 2018, the birthday of India’s Second President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishanan was much enjoyed as the Teacher’s day. Well the fun and frolicsome day for teachers to relieve and relish the moments of life was started with the warm welcome to our honourable Secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet Singh Ji and the our very own Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh along with teachers. 

                                        The students had much in the basket to share an amalgam of amusement for all teachers. The ceremonial day was enjoyed with cake cutting by secretary sir, Principal ma’am along with teachers. Initiated by the prayer song there were many activities and tasks for teachers. Teachers were given tasks of ramp walk, singing, acting and dancing. Pre-Pimary Picnic !!!

“A picnic is more than eating a meal, it is a pleasurable state of mind.”
                                              Recreation plays a major role in a person’s life, it supplies with energy and enthusiasm to person and provides a chance to take some moments out of one’s busy life style. To provide same chance of recreation and an opportunity to peep into nature the students of Nursery to Second classes were taken for a picnic to Nehru Park at Tonk Road.
                                            Children enjoyed a lot “rides, toy train, swings. They played games with the teachers and also taken refreshments. The entire day was fun filled for the students. Picnic gives them break from stressful time.

Janmashtami Celebrated @SSPS !!!

Janmashtami, is the birthday of lord Krishna which is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. Today we celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna, janmashtami festival.                                                        A beautiful combination on dance with Bhajan was presented by the students showed the ‘lilas of Lord Krishna’ in their dance.

Indian Independence Quiz Competition @ SSPS !!!

Today on 1st Sept. 2018 Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar organized a G.K Quiz Competition based on Indian Indepenednce history. There were five teams in total. Each team is having 4 participants. There were different rounds like -1) General round 2) Audio-visual round 3) Buzzer round 4) Identify the personality round 5) Rapid fire round. The students participated enthusiastically .                                                                             At Last Respected Principal Ma’am appreciated the efforts of the students, their participation and congratulated the winners.Team E was winner and Team D was runner up.

Health Awareness Camp @ SSPS !!!

On 29th Sept. 2018, Wednesday, a Health awareness workshop organized by Dr. Sunil Dhand-MBBS, MD and also who has done specialization in endocrinology in CMC, Vellore
                                           Classes III to IX were addressed by Dr. Sunil Dhand to inspire them for daily exercise, to take proper breakfast and consuming fruits and vegetables as per requirement of age groups. Dr. Sunil also informed to achieve a balanced diet for healthy life style and to remain stress free.                                                  The school is highly obliged as Dr. Sunil spare time for us to teach our young generation good food habits for healthy body and healthy mind. We hope that our young students will utilize it in their daily life. Respected Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh thanked Mr. Sunil Dhand for his eye opening speech.

Raksha Bandhan Celebrated !!!

On Saturday, 25th August Saint Soldier Public School, pratap Nagr celebrated the Raksha bandhan in pre primary wings.
                                                      The toddlers learnt the rituals of Raksha Bandhan. The girls tied Rakhi to the boys, offered sweets and in return boys gave them gifts. The festive coloures spread in the environment of the Pre Primary wing. The little ones enjoyed that enthusiastically. The teachers taught them the about the tradition of raksha bandhan and the importance of relationships among the siblings. Our Respected Ma’am Mr. Aruna Suresh blessed them with best wishes.

Inter School Debate Competition @SSPS

Speech is Silver….           Discussion is Distinction……. Debate is Diamond….                                             The fine morning of Saturday 25th August 2018 was a well grooming and enthralling day for Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur as an Inter school debate competition was organized in school where 22 schools participated whole heartedly. Being given a burning question very apt for learners- ‘Coaching centers are a boon or a bane’.

                                  The participants reached full of bags. School Picnic to Appu Ghar !!!

“Certainly, travel and trips are more than the seeing of sights, it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
                                   SSPS organized the excursion trips to ‘Appu Ghar’ for classes III to XII on 21st and 23rd August. It was a fun and adventure filled day for the students, they enjoyed Horse riding, Camel cart riding, swimming and various adventurous swings; with fun and curiosity. They enjoyed the natural scenaries along with shower of rain and tasty lunch which made this excursion full of fun and frolic. They learnt sharing with peers as well to reach beyond the fear on the adventurous swings, under the supervision of trainers and teachers.                           As Helen Keller says life is either a daring adventure or nothings; these excursions are helpful to teach them the life skills outside the class-rooms with the peers.

Independence Day celebrated !!!

72nd Independence Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in SSPS, Pratap Nagar on August 15, 2018
                                                                  The chief guest of the programme was Sardar Ajay pal Singh ji (Chairman Of Guru Nanak Dev Satsang Sabha Education Board &President Of Rajasthan Sikh Samaj & Former President Of Rajasthan Housing Board), Along With Guests Of Honour Sardar Jasbeer Singh Ji (Chairman Of Minority Commission Of Rajasthan), Sardar Baldev Singh Ji General Secretary Of Guru Nanak Dev Satsang Sabha Education Board, Sardar Surjeet Singh Ji (President Gurudwara Sahib, vaishali Nagar), Sardar Sateyendra Pal Singh Ji (President Gurudwara, Mansorovar) and other dignitaries of variousorganizations and educational fields.

SSPS,  Pratap nagar organized Interhouse Patriotic Group Song Competition on August 11th 2018. All four houses participated enthusiastically and were in the patriotic ferver costumes. Sahibzada Ajit Singh house stood first and Sahibzada Jorawar Singh house on the second position.
                               Our Respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh also motivated and blessed the participants. The competition was well organized and filled with patriotic ideas and emotions.

Fancy dress competition-“Become an Alien” !!!

SSPS, Pratap Nagar in Junior section organized a Fancy dress competition on 6th August 2018 for Primary wing classes I to V participated in the attire of the Aliens as the theme of the competition was “Become an Alien”.                           Student has given a message with their performance to make this planet a better world. Respected Principal ma’am announced prizes for the winners and encouraged the students.

A Collage Making Activity !!!

Today Saint Soldier Public School Pratap Nagar organized ‘A Collage Making Activity’ with theme of national leaders to imbibe patriotic feelings among students. 
                           Teachers helped children in making collage of National leaders. The young students enjoyed the activity and explained about our National leaders. Our Respected Principal ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh encouraged the students about activity and patriotism.

The Investiture Ceremony @SSPS

Today Saint Soldier Pubic School, Pratap Nagar organized the sworning in ceremony- The Investiture Ceremony on August 4th 2018.
                                      On this occasion the school was blessed to have secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet singh Ji as Chief Guest. The ceremony began with lighting of the lamp by honourable Secretary Sir and respected Ma’am Principal. Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh announced the name of the newly appointed school council members and briefed the importance of this ceremony. The newly elected school Council members- Head boy-Shivam Dadhich, head girl- Jaanvi Joshi, Discipline Incharge- Shivam Natani, Sports Captain- Shubham Patel, vice-Sports Captain –Anuj Tambi and Exnora Head – Priyanshi jain were honoured by. Secretary Sir and Principal Ma’am pinning up the badges and sashes.
Each house council members escorted by their house incharges marched ahead on stage. They were honoured by badges. It was followed by the oath which was taken by all the council…

Ms. Arielle Rawlings, from Idaho United States of America-joins SSPS team !!!

SSPS, Pratap Nagar is committed to impart the education with appropriate values and “Children with a difference”. Today’s world is a global village where English, as an International language has an important impact and influence.

                     To equip its students, with global phenomena, the school has appointed Ms. Arielle Rawlings, from Idaho, United States of America to impart the apt education to excel the student of SSPS, P.N in all fields.Ms. Arielle Rawlings teaching with the Fulbright program. The School Principal Ma’am Ms. Aruna Suresh welcomed her in assembly with Tilak, mauli and floral garland.

Guru Purnima Celebrated @SSPS

Today SSPS, Pratap Nagar celebrated the Guru Purnima in the school campus.

                          On this Occasion, the little toddlers sang a song to pay tribute to their Gurus. ‘Shlokas’ were presented in a melodious way and a skit was presented depicting the importance of the day.                   Our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh taught them the importance of Gurus in life and how to celebrate it. She appreciated the efforts done by the little ones and the teachers.

Voting for Head Boy and Head Girl !!!

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more you are a leader."
                                    The school today organized voting session for the nominations of Head boy and Head girl.  For Head Boy the nominations were SHIVAM DADHICH from XII B and SHIVAM NATANI from XII A. For head Girl the nominations were PRIYANSHI JAIN from XII B and JAANVI JOSHI from XII B. Students from classes 6 to 12 casted their precious vote in the ballot box to choose their representatives.                                  The students were elated to get an opportunity to elect their leaders and eagerly voted for their representatives. They were asked to put their secret votes in the ballot Box. Thus in this way the school Head Boy & Head Girl election was held in the campus!


"A true leader makes his followers greater people than they were before."                              To choose the representatives of the school council members campaigning for the post of Head Body & Head Girl was done on 18/7/2018. For Head Boy the nominations were SHIVAM DADHICH from XII B and SHIVAM NATANI from XII A. For head Girl the nominations were PRIYANSHI JAIN from XII B and JAANVI JOSHI from XII B. All the students came forward to express their views and appealed for vote.


Saint Soldier public School, Pratap Nagar organized the ‘Self Help’ activity in Pre Primary wing on Saturday.                                      Teachers explained the student to do their work on their own. The students were taught to tie shoe laces, buttoning the skirts, to blow the balloon & to tie, and to wear ID cards. Students also learnt to arrange crayons properly in the box.                         Our Respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh encouraged the students to do their activities without taking help. Somewhere, it was a work shop to teach the children “The self-dependence.” Students participated very actively and enthusiastically in all these activities.

Vegetable Speak Activity @SSPS

Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar celebrated the Vegetable Speak ctivity in Pre Primary wing. Teacher shown them different vegetables in chart paper and made pictures on the board. Children spoke five lines on different vegetables.                                       They got the knowledge about the vegetables. Our respected Principal ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh encouraged the students inactives as and the value of vegetables. 


On 7th July Saturday with great enthusiasm and excitement world Population Day was celebrated in SSPS, A special assembly was arranged there. A message giving background was prepared. After prayer song a beautiful poem of Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan was presented. After poem there was a skit based on the topic how we can use population as a human resource.                           The skit was so much inspiring and students learnt not to waste our Human Resources. We can use them to build our country a developed country. After skit a speech was in live complete information about world population, reasons for increasing population and measures to control it. At the end celebration was ended with our Respected principal Ma’am Mrs. Aruna Suresh's Message.
