SHAHEEDI WEEK AND MARTYRS' DAY@SSPS

As a mark of respect during Shaheedi Week and Martyrs’ Day on 26 December, a special assembly was organised in school to honour the supreme sacrifices of the four Sahibzade in view of Veer Bal Diwas. The highlight of the assembly was four meaningful speeches delivered by students, each dedicated to one of the four Sahibzade, highlighting their courage, faith, and supreme sacrifice. This was followed by a soulful shabad presented by students, creating an atmosphere of devotion and reflection.

To enhance students’ understanding, a pathway was created using seven display boards, each beautifully decorated and explaining the events of different days of Shaheedi Week. Students visited the pathway and learned about the complete story of sacrifice and bravery in an engaging manner.

The visionary inspiration for this meaningful and educational initiative was given by our Respected Secretary Sir, Shri Gurmeet Singh Ji, whose guidance encouraged students to remember the martyrs and adopt values of courage, faith, and righteousness in their lives.

The Orientation Programme for students stepping into Class VI at Saint Soldier Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, was conducted with great enthusiasm and purpose. The session aimed at preparing young learners and their parents for the significant transition from primary to middle school, where academic expectations and learning approaches undergo a meaningful transformation. The programme focused on introducing the key changes in study patterns, emphasizing a shift from basic learning to more structured, concept-based and deep learning. Students were guided to adopt better study habits, including regular revision, time management, independent learning, and critical thinking skills. The session was effectively conducted under the guidance of the school Principal, Mrs. Charu Gupta, who addressed the gathering with clarity and encouragement. She elaborated on the new academic framework, assessment patterns, and the need for students to develop a strong foundation through consistent effort and curiosity-driven learning. Her insightful words reassured parents and motivated students to embrace this new phase with confidence and enthusiasm. Adding further inspiration, the School Secretary, Shri Gurmeet Singh Ji, shared his valuable message, encouraging students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their goals. He emphasized the role of parents and teachers as partners in a child’s educational journey and urged students to cultivate good habits that will shape their future. The programme concluded on a positive note, leaving parents informed and students inspired to take on the challenges of Class VI with a determined and optimistic mindset.
