School celebrated Baisakhi with immense joy, fervor and
excitement experienced amidst each one of us. The students presented a variety of programs like a Punjabi dance and Shabad Singing and also speech on various aspects of rural Punjab, its cultural heritage as the sowing, ploughing, harvesting, winnowing and gathering of crop. They also spread the message of fraternity on account of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti.
The school teachers told the children about
the importance of the festival as it marks the Sikh new year and commemorates the formation of Khalsa panth of warriors under the guidance of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji. The
students witnessed various events where everyone gladly enjoyed the program. Lastly
Principal Ma'am Aruna Suresh motivated the particip[ating students for their efforts. It was a memorably day to
remember.
